Our skin care company has been in operation since 1996. We were originally producing a line under a different name, essencia, which was sold primarily in California and the western states. A few of our established accounts were with: Nordstroms, Whole Foods, Erewon, Mother's Markets, Fred Segal, Pierre LaFond, Planet Blue, Palmetto, La Peer Beauty Beverly Hills, Planet Blue Malibu, Burke Williams Spa Los Angeles, Marriot Desert Springs, and Day Spas throughout the country.

We also held accounts with a few select boutiques/markets in the New York area: Integral Yoga on 13th in NYC, Jill Seherer in Roslyn, Edge of the Woods in New Haven, Wild by Nature Market in East Setauket, and Mrs. Erbs in Denville, NJ. Our coverage in the Midwest and Florida was minimal, but solid.

In 2000 we sold our essencia formulations, and began private labeling for other companies and a select clientele. Since then, we have consistently kept researching and developing ideas for our current line, metamour.

metamour skin care prides itself on sourcing ingredients that are Pure, Potent and Certified Organic. All formulations are Cruelty Free and contain NO PARABENS, POLYMERS, SULPHATES, ARTIFICIAL COLORS OR ARTIFICIAL FRAGRANCES. Our ingredients are plant derived, vegan and formulated with Botanicals that have been harvested in the U.S., through the Aromatic Plant Project, and in Europe, where Organic gardening and sustainability leads the Industry.

We are listed on the CCIC, Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics, and maintain a steadfast commitment to ZERO TOLERANCE of all animal testing from our product line. Additionally, we package using glass bottles, recycled or recyclable plastic, and recyclable or post consumer paper, printed with soy ink. Instead of wasting additional paper for Consumer Product Information, any available space on the inside of our boxes, is utilized.
